Greeting readers! It’s good to be with you again. Here is my post for July, hope you enjoy as always! God bless you guys!
“God’s been good to me, all my life he’s been good!” is a familiar refrain from one of my favorite songs by Crystal Lewis. If you don’t know who that is, now’s the time to find out! The truth in those words in my life, and the life of many other Christians cannot be understated. God is good, all the time! He is faithful and true! He will never forsake us, and he loves us.
The events of have occurred over the last month in my life, give great testimony about this biblical truth. One such event was a short vacation with my family. A three day trip to the city of Kupang Indonesia. It was a wonderful time, spent swimming, shopping, eating, and having quality family day. In addition it happened to fall over my birthday. My 19th birthday turned out to be one of the best! One I’ll always remember! I am so thankful that God gave me this experience to cherish. But it’s just one of the ways God has been so kind to me, and my family.
If any of you here follow my on my social media accounts; You are aware that I was accepted to my university of choice, Mt. Vernon Nazarene University, back in April! Now at just 4 weeks away, I couldn’t be more excited to start this new journey! I look forward to what God has in store for me, and how he will use me in this season of life. Iv’e loved every step I have taken towards attending MVNU. Every part of preparation has had value and importance, and has filled me with joy of what’s coming.
My future is ahead of me, and I give all the praise to The One who holds it. My whole life is ahead of me, with Jesus as my guide and strength. “Who am I that you are mindful of me.” It’s such a good feeling to know that Our God and savior loves us so much. God is so good to me. His blessings are immeasurable. I’m so thankful.
So, I hope that God is part of your life. He will do amazing things for you. Things you couldn’t imagine. For he is good, and his love endures forever. Grace and Peace, Jonathan D. Young. Here’s to a Bright Future.
